Exhibition Venue Transportation Guide: China Import and Export Fair Complex, Area B. The venue is well connected, with on-site metro stations and major urban arterial roads providing access from the east, west, south, and north.
Recommended Main Transportation:
Preferred: Metro
The metro is the most convenient way to reach the Canton Fair Complex.
Key Stations:
Take Guangzhou Metro Line 8 or Line 11.
Xingangdong Station: Direct access to Area A upon exit.
Pazhou Station: Direct access to Area B upon exit; Exit C, walk approximately 300 meters west to reach Area C.
Important Note: Line 8 and Line 11 transfers at Pazhou Station are outside the station. Follow the elevated “Rainproof Corridor” signage and use the dedicated blue transfer gates for the interchange.
Alternative: Bus & Airport Shuttle
Regular Buses: Multiple bus routes pass by the Canton Fair Complex, with stops usually named “Pazhou” or “Canton Fair Complex.”
Temporary Expo Shuttle: During the fair, a special shuttle runs between Zhonglu (Exhibition Road) and Liuhua Road. Operating times vary by fair period and date.
Airport Shuttle: During the fair (excluding transition periods), dedicated buses run between Baiyun International Airport and the Canton Fair Complex, with intervals of approximately 30–45 minutes during off-peak hours.
Taxis & E-Hailing Services
Taxis: Available at temporary pickup points on Exhibition Road (Central), West Exhibition Road, and South Second Road near Hall C. During daily closing hours (around 17:00–18:00), taxis are concentrated for efficient passenger transport.
E-Hailing Services: Pickup points are located at Exhibition Road (Central), South Second Road near Hall C, and near the Canton Fair Complex Hall. During peak dismissal hours (16:00–19:00), ride-hailing vehicles may not accept trips on main roads around the venue (e.g., Xingangdong Road). Metro is recommended during these times.
Driving
During the fair, core areas of the venue (Areas A, B, C, D) are under traffic control; unauthorized vehicles are prohibited. Surrounding roads can be heavily congested during peak hours. If driving, check real-time parking availability and fees at nearby lots via the “Guangzhou Parking” WeChat mini program.
